Frequently Asked Questions

The 12 most-asked questions about 签屿 (VisaIsle): what it is, what it costs, how to pick a mode, how to practice after a refusal, and how to delete your data. Not answered here? Email hello@qianyu.cyou.

Q01

What is 签屿 (VisaIsle)?

签屿 (VisaIsle) is an AI mock interviewer for the US B1/B2 visitor visa. You upload your DS-160, the AI cross-checks your form, spoken answers, and supporting documents for inconsistencies, then questions you the way a consular officer would and tells you what to fix. 签屿 and VisaIsle are the same product: qianyu.cyou is the Chinese edition, visaisle.com the English one.

Q02

How does a mock interview session work?

Three steps: fill in or upload your DS-160 (or dictate the key facts in the voice intake studio), choose an intensity, then start the live voice interview. The whole flow takes about 10 minutes and ends with an on-the-spot verdict plus a list of the inconsistencies found.

Q03

How much does it cost?

Credits are sold in packs: ¥29.9 for 1 training credit and ¥59.9 for 3. A Realistic-mode session costs 0.5 credits, Training mode 1, Stress mode 1.5 — roughly ¥10-30 per practice run, versus thousands of RMB for human coaching. New users get 1 free training credit on sign-up.

Q04

What is the difference between the three modes?

Realistic mode (~6 questions) mirrors the cold, fast pace of the real window; Training mode (~14 questions, the default) digs deeper with follow-ups on your materials; Stress mode (~22 questions) interrupts and re-asks repeatedly to stress-test your consistency.

Q05

Which visa types are supported?

US B1/B2 (business/tourist visitor visa) only. Deliberately specialized — this is not a generic F-1 or H-1B interview tool; the questioning logic and 214(b) risk dimensions are built around the visitor visa.

Q06

What is 214(b)?

Section 214(b) of the US Immigration and Nationality Act presumes every visitor-visa applicant intends to immigrate until they prove otherwise — it is the most common B1/B2 refusal reason. 签屿 (VisaIsle) scores immigrant intent and short-visit credibility across public, explainable dimensions and simulates 214(b)-style follow-up questioning.

Q07

How should I practice before reapplying after a 214(b) refusal?

Find what likely went wrong last time, fix it, then verify: re-check your DS-160 against your real situation, use Training mode to locate the contradictions, then use Stress mode to confirm your revised answers hold up under repeated probing. 签屿 (VisaIsle) returns an item-by-item inconsistency list and steadier phrasings — but it is a practice tool and cannot guarantee the outcome of a reapplication.

Q08

What happens if my DS-160 and my spoken answers don't match?

The officer has read your DS-160 before you say a word; many refusals trace back to contradictions between the form, the spoken answers, and the documents. 签屿 (VisaIsle) parses the same form field by field and flags every mismatch before the officer can.

Q09

Can parents visiting the US use it to practice?

Yes — a common pattern: the child tops up credits and the parents practice at home with a browser and a microphone. The interface and report are in Chinese, while the mock interview is conducted mainly in spoken English (mid-sentence Chinese-English mixing is understood).

Q10

Is 签屿 official? Does it guarantee a visa?

No. 签屿 (VisaIsle) is an AI practice tool built by DUOCODE TECHNOLOGY (a company registered in Malaysia). It is not affiliated with the US government or any embassy, provides no legal advice, and guarantees no visa outcome. Simulation results are practice feedback based on public visa rules only.

Q11

Is my DS-160 and voice data safe?

Your uploaded DS-160, supporting documents, and voice-intake profile are stored in your account library and used for parsing and mock interviews. You can delete them in the library at any time — deleting an item also removes the stored original file. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Q12

Do I need to install an app?

No install needed. It runs in the browser at qianyu.cyou / visaisle.com; voice practice uses your microphone, and your materials and history are saved to your account. Works on both phone and desktop.
